Fall-Where Art Thou??

Whatever happened to fall weather? Aren't the leaves supposed to be turning shades of red, orange, and yellow? I guess not, L.A. was 90 degrees today! So much for wearing my new trench coat......

NYC fashion week 2011

   

Fashion Week has been pretty amazing I must say, these are just a few of my favorite pieces. I love the classic almost victorian-like feel of the first three images and the mod vibe of the 4th picture is just fab!

Fall? Already? Oh. Yes.

 Oh my goodness my little fashionistas! Is it true that I have not posted anything in so long? Is NY Fashion Week already here? Will Gossip Girl season 5 premiere any sooner?! First things first, I seriously can't believe I've left all you dear readers out in the cold without a delicious blog post to devour! Cruel aren't I? Secondly I have like a bajillion stories to tell you guys and gals! Anyways, summer has come and gone ( I'm missing those late night movies and vintage shopping escapades.....sigh) and fall is here ( which, F.Y.I means capelets people! Finally!) so I had better get a move on the next Fall Fashion Lookout post!

Can you spell S-U-M-M-E-R?

Sorry I haven't posted in so long! Pretty Little Heels has been taking some much appreciated "me time" and has been too busy these past months! Anyways, summer has been amazing so far! I've already made plans for a trip to San Francisco-The coldest winter you'll ever have is summer in San Francisco!- and Seattle to visit my grandparents. In early June( the 3rd to be exact) I was featured in an art show at the Tea Exchange!!!

I know, amazing right! I promise to post a picture of some of my art pieces! And, to further boost June's fantastic level (I know I make no sense), My birthday was on the 22! So many amazing gifts! One of my personal favorites was a San Diego straw floppy hat, J'adore. Here's a pic of one of my new Juicy necklaces. I love the vintage-y feel of the three lockets!

The Hermes scarf and gold Donna Karen platforms add a summery feel to this outfit.

This Summer don't be afraid to add splashes of color and fun prints. Espadrilles and platform wedges are a summer staple along with cross-body bags and cat eye sunglasses.
